It is based on ISRO scientists' mission Mars project. Just as ISRO
scientists achieved the feat of launching the satellite in Mars's Orbit on 24
September 2014 in its first attempt, the film has given a convincing story in the
first attempt of Bollywood space genre.
The film revolves around stories
that exemplify science, dream and struggle. There is an attack on ombuds and
pre-conceived notions, which prevent a person from making unlimited jumps. We
Hindustani celebrate our achievement by decreasing it. It is a Bollywood
achievement offering. This celebration is entitled Hausla Afzai.
The film's story begins in 2010.
Together with ISRO's renowned scientist and mission director Rakesh Dhawan and
project director Tara Shinde try to launch Rocket from a mission called PSLV
C-39. Unfortunately that plan fails. Consequently, Rakesh's transferred to
ISRO's improbable MARS project. That is under the supervision of Rupert Desai who
came from NASA. Rupert's habit remains to exemplify NASA in everything
Circumstances remain such that despite being confident of Rakesh Dhawan, the ISRO director has to do the same. Rakesh and Tara Shinde are given Rupert intentionally non-experienced Aika Gandhi, Neha Siddiqui, Kritika Aggarwal, Varsha Pillai, Parmeshwar Naidu and Anant Iyengar's team at the threshold of retirement for the Mars project.
The initial budget was 800
crores, but that too, after going some distance, it becomes half i.e. 400
crores. Aika, Kritika, Varsha and Parmeshwar's personal life also have a lot of
trouble. Despite all these challenges, how Rakesh and Tara execute the mission,
the film is its hallmark.
